Does cloudcorps certify companies for CMMC?
No. Certification only ever comes from a C3PAO, a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization. cloudcorps does the readiness work that comes before: gap assessment, remediation, evidence, and environment. We are not a C3PAO and we do not certify. If a badge is on this site, it is real.
When do we actually need CMMC Level 2?
There is no certification deadline in force right now. The Department of War suspended CMMC Phase 2 on July 13, 2026, and a reform task force is reviewing the program. What has not paused: DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171, the SPRS score you submit, your annual affirmation, and whatever your prime flows down by contract. How long does readiness take?
Plan in quarters, not weeks. The readiness work depends on your gap count, and the heavyweight controls are rarely quick. Start with an honest 110-control score and a system security plan: that work is required today, it survives any outcome of the CMMC review, and it is what a certification would be built on if one is required of you later.
